Dendritic Cell Vaccines

Dendritic cells are antigen presenting cells that help the T-cells recognize foreign pathogens or cancer cells.

With blood drawn, it is processed and dendritic cells are presented with peptides or immunoglobulins that will be able to recognize the cancer cells. Once these cells are injected into the body, Dendritic cells starts to call the T-cells to attack the cancer cells.
